We will be closed for the following bank holidays:

  • We will be closed between the Christmas period and New Years Day, no orders will be processed between these days.
Please note any orders placed on these days, or on weekends, will not be processed until the next working day.

Shipping & Delivery

Standard Items
Most of our items are shipped via DPD Next Week Day delivery at a flat cost of £8.00 (Across mainland UK). DPD will provide you with a one-hour delivery window via SMS or email, if we are provided with contact details for you. We aim to dispatch all orders received before 2pm on the same day (Excluding weekends and bank holidays) and items should be delivered the next working day. Any items purchased after this time will be sent the following day. (Subject to payment and items being in stock).
Large Items
For maximum transport protection all our larger items will be sent via a Pallet Delivery (Across mainland UK). Our delivery service is a curbside drop so we recommends having someone with you who is able to help move any large items. We will contact you after placing the order to arrange a delivery day that suits you best. 
Highlands and Islands
Due to an increased cost of delivery to some areas in the UK there may be an additional cost to pay. Theses charges will appear in the basket upon checkout.
International Delivery
Currently we are unable to process international transactions through our website. Please contact our sales team on 01622 834370 who will be happy to help you complete your order over the phone.
If any items look tampered with, please notify us as soon as possible.

Collect at Store

FREE Store Pick-up/Reserve
You can arrange to pick up or reserve your item(s) through our website and collect them at our trade counter in Marden, Maidstone. Saving you on delivery costs and time. Items can only be collected during working hours.
Pay and Collect
Just select your payment option and choose collection as your preferred delivery method. We will aim to process your order within 2 hours and we will email you as soon as they are ready. Please note the order will be held for a maximum of 30 days. After 30 days your collection will be cancelled and any payments refunded to your original payment option.
Reserve and Collect
Selecting Cash as your payment option in the checkout will allow you to reserve your item(s) for 48hrs and pay on collection (Other payments still accepted). Your order will be processed within 2 hours and we will email you as soon as they are ready. 
Please bring a form of I.D along with your confirmation email. Returns can be brought straight back to store.

Returns

At Burtons we pride ourselves on our high quality products and above all, we want you to be happy with your purchase.
14 Days Returns Policy
In the unlikely case that you are not, please let us know within 14 days of receiving your goods. If your order consists of multiple goods, the 14-day period runs from when you receive the last item. Once your purchase has been returned in the same, resalable condition that you received it in and with all original packaging, we will refund you via the payment method used when purchasing.
If you do wish to return your goods, please contact us and we will supply you with a return number to include in the box. If the resale value of the goods has been reduced due to the item or packaging being missing or damaged we retain the right to make a deduction on the final refund value.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Postage Returns
If you return your package within the 14 days we will return the cost of getting to the package to you, but we will unfortunately not be able to refund the return postage. If your postage was enhanced. E.g. Saturday delivery. Only the basic cost of getting it to you will be refunded. This excludes business customers and is subject to our standard terms of business, if you are a business customer please contact us to find out more.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible.
Please note: We will be unable to cancel the order after despatch. Please return items following our standard 14 day returns policy as stated above.

Faulty Goods

Many of our items are covered by the one-year manufacturer’s warranty (please check the individual item details). Therefore, if your product becomes faulty within its warranty period please let us know by calling or emailing our team as soon as possible and we will happily arrange a repair or exchange.
In the highly unlikely case that the item does not match what we have stated, please contact us so that we can solve the issue.
We work hard to maintain a good relationship with all of our customers, if you are not truly satisfied, then please let us know so that we can look to find a suitable solution as soon as possible.

Payment Options

We offer a range of payment options for your order, all fully secured, so you can trust that your order will go through with out a hitch.
Secured Card Payment
Our secured card payment options, provided by PayPal allows you to pay with a range of card types including Visa, Mastercard and Maestro.
Paypal
Prefer to pay with PayPal, It's easy to login and pay online without the need to repeatedly fill in your card details and your, of course, fully protected with PayPal too.
Purchase Order
If you already have an active account with Burtons Medical Equipment you can order item online and pay via your standard payment terms. Please note: Orders can only be placed by the account holder. No items will be dispatched until the account has been confirmed with our sales team. We may contact you prior to shipping to confirm the order with the account holder. If you're unsure if your account is still active please call us on 01622 834370.
Cash
This option is only available through our Collect at Store service, and acts as a reservation only. Please see "Collect at Store" above.

At Burtons we always want to give you the best possible price throughout the year. From time to time we can pass on extra savings through promotions, discounts and multi-buy options. Keep an eye on our social media pages or why not sign up for our newsletter, so you will never miss a deal!
Free Delivery on all orders over £100
Great news! If you spend a total of £100 or more on our website you will automatically receive a free standard delivery for all mainland UK orders. This excludes large items that require pallet delivery.
Vouchers
If you have a voucher for Burtons. These can be accepted on our website, using the unique code written on the front of the voucher. Please note that vouchers are only valid for a year from issue. We will be unable to accept vouchers after this date.
Promotion Codes
To use promotional codes on our website simply type in your code, exactly as it appears, into the promo code box in your shopping basket. Providing that your shopping meets all the specification of the code the discount will be applied at the checkout.
Price Matching
We always aim to be the most competitive on price and spend a lot of time price checking our products against our competitors, so that you don't have to. However if you do find an identical product cheaper, please give us a call. We will not only try and match the price, but try and beat it too!

FAQ's

I haven’t received my order
If your delivery does not arrive in the stated timescale and you have not had any communication from us. Please contact us immediately so we can solve the issue.
When my order be ready for collection?
We will send you an email when your order is ready for collection this will generally be with 30 minutes of placing the order online. It will not be available until this email has been received. If you have not recieved an email confirmation please call us before making a trip - 01622 834370.
How long do I have to collect at store order?
For Items reserved with out payment we will hold your order for 48hrs. If you have paid for you order and have arranged collection we will keep your order for a maximum of 30 days. After the 30 days your order will be cancelled and the payment refunded. (Please see collect at store information above).
What time shall I pick up my order?
We will send you an email when your order is ready for collection. Please take into consideration our opening times.
If I am unsure on an item, can I speak to someone for advice?
Yes! At Burtons we are proud to be experts and are always here to give you guidance. In fact, we are here for the life of your purchase and our experts will always be on hand for any queries or advice.
Is there a way I can look at the products I am considering buying?
We have a Grooming trade counter at our site in Marden, Kent, where you can purchase in person (dependent on stock), have a browse, and discuss your requirements with an expert. Please call us to confirm stock availabitly of any items you are interested in before making a dedicated trip.
How long do I have to return an item?
If you need to return an item that is not faulty, you have 14 days to let us know. You then need to post the item in its original condition and packaging back to us as soon as possible. Once the item has been received and checked, we will refund the item via original payment method.

Can I cancel an order online?
If you need to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Please note: We will be unable to cancel the order after despatch. Please return items following our standard 14 day returns policy.
Do I have to pay for any returns?
If the item is not faulty and there have been no errors on our behalf, you will need to pay to send the item back. It is your responsibility to let us know and send the parcel back to us within 14 days.
